LANDON JONES, ASSISTANT COACH, U17 PREP

Landon Jones joins OHA Edmonton as the Assistant Coach for the U17 Prep team.

Landon began his hockey journey at Notre Dame in Saskatchewan at the Bantam level, where he established himself as a promising young player. From 2002 to 2006, he competed in the Western Hockey League, playing for the Vancouver Giants, Regina Pats, Prince Albert Raiders, and Tri-City Americans. During that time, he also earned an invite to the Team Canada U18 selection camp.

After his WHL career, Landon transitioned to post-secondary hockey, spending one year with Grant MacEwan University before moving on to play three seasons at the University of Lethbridge in the CIS. He graduated with a Bachelor of Management, majoring in Economics and Finance, balancing academic success with his commitment to the game.

Landon now brings his playing experience, leadership, and academic background to OHA Edmonton, where he will support the development of U17 Prep student-athletes both on and off the ice. His firsthand understanding of the demands of elite hockey and his passion for mentoring young players make him a valuable addition to the coaching staff.
