Daily Training
Our program integrates purposeful daily training, both on and off the ice.
- On-Ice Development: Practices emphasize individual skill development through tactical and technical coaching, enhancing hockey IQ and providing a physical edge. Our expert coaches, who bring experience from Junior, University, National, and European levels, share invaluable insights into the game.
- Off-Ice Development: Strength and conditioning programs are tailored to each athlete’s unique needs. With the guidance of our professional Strength and Conditioning Coach and Athletic Therapists, players focus on flexibility, mobility, injury prevention, and peak physical preparation. Regular testing ensures progress and provides data for personalized growth strategies.
Exposure and Placement
At OHA Edmonton, we prioritize exposure to Junior A, WHL, and NCAA programs, offering pathways to the next level of hockey. Our coaching staff’s extensive professional backgrounds and unmatched network of contacts help position our players for success.
We understand the importance of choosing the right path—be it Junior, WHL, or NCAA—and provide families with the education and tools to make informed decisions that align with their unique goals.
